All of you have heard about how megaupload has been shut down, yes?

In retaliation, Anonymous took down the Department of Justice, the RIAA, and Universal Music. Anonymous Operative Barrett Brown has not only confirmed that it was Anonymous, but also promised that this is only the beginning. There is yet more to come.

Anonymous took down the Web sites using “distributed denial of service” attacks — essentially bombarding the sites with an overwhelming amount of traffic.

Megaupload was estimated at one point to be the 13th most frequently visited site on the Internet, according to the indictment. The site claims to have about 50 million daily visits. Now that it’s been snuffed out, the hackers are fighting back.

Time to see where this leads us.

You know, when there wasn’t texting or facebook, my sister and I would always have to call our friends to arrange play dates and such. The funny bit about this was that ‘Ickle Nikki (even over the phone), would wave to her friends.

Yes. She’d just be sitting on the couch, and when her friend picked up the phone, it would always be <wave> “hiiiiiiiiiiii Julia,” </wave>. Even to this day, when she calls someone, she still picks up her hand a little bit and moves it around.

I kind of hope that the habit will stick with her forever.
